Julie Charette Nunn, Crow’s Daughter is a shamanic herbalist, long-time teacher, herbal crafter, organic gardener/farmer/goat herd and successful business owner from Whidbey Island.
She teaches listening as a way to gain access to the abundant wisdom in nature and supports people to open themselves to greater possibility by sharing their gifts.
Julie has spent her entire life with plants in one way or another.
Her most precious teachers are the plants.
She lives on South Whidbey Island in Washington State on a small farm with her husband, Taddeusz, 6 goats, two cats, eagles, hawks, osprey, deer, coyote and many other wonderful creatures.
On Julie’s farm there is over an acre of wild roses. Julie shares the teachings of rose every year when they are in bloom in an immersion called the Journey of the Rose. She also crafts tinctures, infused oil, vinegar and honey with the wild rose.
Julie has found wild rose to contain a mysterious healing quality that cannot be explained with science.
And it is because of nettle that Julie is an herbalist. Her first plant ally, Stinging Nettle, activated a cellular memory in Julie that she is an herbalist.
Dandelion, wild rose, nettle, Douglas fir, cedar, chickweed, Hawthorne, cleavers, goldenrod, yarrow, St. Joan’s Wort, apple, calendula, plantain, violet………
May it be in Beauty.
